Applicant feedback request, Appeals and Complaints

*If you wish to appeal a decision made by the University following confirmation of 2012 examination results, please complete the Appeal; form below. Please note that Admissions and Student Recruitment are unable to make reassessment on decisions made following examination results on 7, 8, 16 and 17 August. The first date that we will consider reassessment of candidates receiving SQA results and querying our decision is 9 August. The first date that we will consider reassessment of candidates receiving GCE results and querying our decision is 20 August.

For candidates studying SQA qualifications, more information on submitting an SQA "Urgent" appeal can be found at: http://www.sqa.org.uk/sqa/33004.html.

For candidates studying GCE qualifications please encourage your School or Exam centre to submit an Enquiry about a Result (EAR). Normally this will be a Priority Service 2 enquiry for applicants to Higher Education. You can contact your Exam Board for more details.

Admissions and Student Recruitment understands the impact that our admissions decisions can have on your future. We therefore spend time assessing each application individually and fairly select the candidates most suited to the programmes that we offer at Dundee. However, we understand that applicants may wish further information about our decision, a review of our decision or to voice dissatisfaction with the service provided.

If you would like to Request Feedback, submit an Appeal, or make a Complaint, please complete one of the following forms:

  • Feedback: you would like some more information regarding our decision on your application, or would like some specific advice and how to improve a future re-application.
  • Appeal: you have additional or new information that was not included in your original application and would like your application to be reassessed (please note that we will consider all appeal requests but cannot guarantee to review UCAS applications following the UCAS deadline)
  • Complaint: you are unhappy with the service provided by Admissions and Student Recruitment at the University of Dundee.

We aim to provide all feedback within 14 days.
