The Key Information Set has been created to allow prospective students to compare courses before they apply. There are various pieces of information collected from a range of sources, including independently run surveys and data provided by universities themselves.
For courses which do not have many graduates, for example joint degree combinations or new degrees, the information may be estimated, based on similar courses.
