Facilities

As well as running our own training courses we are also happy to offer our facilities for hire for seminars, skills training events, examinations etc. We can provide equipment, materials, technical, AV/IT and administration support.

Seminar and lounge area

  • Seats a maximum of 40 people
  • Large-screen video projection
  • Facilities to present PowerPoint presentations and other PC based content, ability to play most video formats including DVD, DVCAM, BETACAM and SVHS.
  • Ability to transmit and receive live audio/video links, both within Ninewells Hospital and externally using either IP or ISDN.
  • Seminar room has Sound system, Interactive Whiteboard, Wireless Presentation laser pointer, flip charts, slide/ annotation projector, laptop connection.

  • 10 workstations for a maximum of 20 people
  • Fully equipped with state of the art Storz laparoscopic equipment including the latest Image 1 cameras and flat screen monitors
  • Large screen projection for PowerPoint, video presentations and demo station

    Dry Laboratory

  • For a maximum of 20 people
  • Specially equipped for orthopaedic teaching with heavy-duty benches and non-slip flooring
  • Large-screen projection for PowerPoint, video presentations and demo station
  • Laboratory also has 6 stand-alone computer stations

    CSC facilities include: IT support on the day covering computer, presentations/links etc

    Secretarial support covers booking of room, general reception on day

    Technical support is lab technician’s time on day. If you require any further services, catering etc. please let us know and we can give you a quotation.
