The Transatlantic Student Exchange Programme (TSE) is open to students for the full session of their 2nd year. In addition some students may be able to go for a single semester in their 3rd year.

Student Housing at UNT (as with most US universities) is dormitory-style, with two students to a room. It is run by a central department at the University called Housing and Residence Life (HRL). The HRL strives to be a 'home away from home' residence for students. They are responsible for the physical maintenance of the facilities, and also in a limited manner for the health, welfare, and conduct of students living in the halls. All rooms are air-conditioned and double-occupancy, and are equipped with twin beds, closets, desks. Most rooms also have in-room sinks and cable TV hookups. Some rooms share a private lavatory and shower with the adjacent room and some have communal lavatories and showers on the wing.
The residence halls are called: Bruce, Clark, The College Inn, Mozart, Victory, Sante Fe, Legends, Crumley, Kerr, Maple and West Halls.
