The Transatlantic Student Exchange Programme (TSE) is open to students for the full session of their 2nd year. In addition some students may be able to go for a single semester in their 3rd year.
Students currently in the first year of any of the following degree courses are eligible to apply for the TSE programme:
Alexander Global Village is an on-campus university residence hall devoted to introducing international students to American culture; exposing American students to other cultures; and making the entire community aware of global issues. Alexander Global Village is a residence hall with 50% international and 50% US students.
The US students must submit a special application to live in Alexander and many of them are former participants in overseas exchange programs. In Alexander, there are many social and cultural activities with an international theme and there are student ambassadors to assist in acclimating International Students to American Culture.
The 2008-09 cost was approximately $2,160 per semester (per person based on double occupancy). This includes amenities.
More information can be found at the Alexander Global Village webpage.
If you do not wish to live in Alexander Global Village, you will be responsible for making your own housing arrangements, whether in other university housing or off-campus.
