Belmont Tower is located centrally on the main campus and yet is only 10 minutes walk from the city centre. The residence lies adjacent to the University sports hall, tennis courts, swimming pool, Students Association, Main Library and the Chaplaincy Centre. Belmont Tower accommodates 62 students in premier rooms and 48 students in standard rooms, within 15 self-contained flats. Each flat has between 6 and 8 bedrooms (apart from one flat which has 4 bedrooms) for single occupancy and a fully fitted kitchen with dining area. Each bedroom has its own ensuite shower and toilet. The flats have full central heating included in the fees. Dundee City Council has granted this property a licence to operate as a "House in Multiple Occupation".

| Cleaning | A limited service is provided, focusing on communal areas. Bedrooms will be inspected periodically. Residents are expected to follow instructions given by the Manager in regard to cleanliness. Each resident is responsible for ensuring that the flat and their bedroom & ensuite shower/toilet is kept to a reasonable level of cleanliness. A vacuum cleaner is available in each flat for residents use. |
| Telephones | Each student bedroom is equipped with a phone which enables residents to contact 999 emergency only. It also enables a visitor arriving at the main door of the residence to communicate with any room. |
| Laundry | A coin-operated laundry is available within Belmont Tower. An iron and ironing table is available in each flat. |
| Car Parking | As parking on the University Campus is strictly restricted to Permit Holders only, there is no parking at Belmont for residents. |
| What you will need to bring with you | Duvet & duvet cover, bed sheet, pillow & pillow cover (Bedding Starter Pack can be purchased on arrival, subject to availability); dishes, cutlery, pots and cooking utensils, personal washing materials and towels; dish cloth and cleaning materials; clothes hangers; headphones for radios/stereo equipment; a television licence if you intend to use a television within your room or flat. |
