Two concert series take place throughout the academic year.
The Friday lunchtime concerts are very successful with around 100 people turning up each week, and a wide variety of performers. The concerts tend to be given by local musicians, staff and students of the University, whether as soloists or as members of ensembles.
These concerts are free to attend and run from 1.20pm - 1.50 pm at the University Chaplaincy Centre.
Our evening concert series offers 5 performances a year. These concerts tend to take place on a Thursday evening in the University Chaplaincy Centre.
You can hear a wide range of music - from Baroque to Contemporary - and international names like Tommy Smith, Allan Neave and the Schubert Ensemble have all performed here.
The 2009/10 season includes Karen Dufour (saxophone) in November and John Butt and Susan Hamilton of the Dunedin Consort in March.
