Mental Health and Wellbeing Day

The University is supporting the national Mental Health and Wellbeing Day and want to encourage students and staff to get involved wherever they can.
Five a day Challenge
We have all heard of eating 5 fruit and veg a day to keep us physically healthy, but what about doing 5 things a day to help us stay mentally healthy?
See
5 a day for mental health and come in to DUSA level 4 to pick up an entry form on the 22nd and get some ideas for entering the challenge.
The calendar for the day is continuing to grow but for starters here's what we have planned
Pay a visit to the University Volunteering Fair at Bonar Hall from 11:00 - 15:00
DUSA level 4 - Counselling, Mental Health and Disability Services from the university will be on hand to answer any queries or offer suggestions. Just come along between 12:00 and 14:30 and have a chat or pick up some information.
The Institute of Sport and Exercise (ISE) will be on hand in DUSA to answer any queries and to chat about what they can offer folk in the way of health and wellbeing (it's not all about lycra and sweat!!) Sign up for a free access pass to their Equilibrium class on Wednesday 29th February which runs from 12.30 to 13.20. Also find out about the reflexology and myofascial therapies available.
People and Planet will be promoting the free shop which is open from 12:00 - 14:00 and also want to invite you to the allotments on Sunday mornings from 10:00 at the Botanical Gardens.
The Knit and Natter group will be welcoming new faces in the Advice Team reception, DUSA level 4 from 12:30-14:00
Join the walk around campus and we bet we can point things out to you that you have never noticed before. Meet outside DUSA Premier shop at 14:00
Start a good habit and order yourself some Fruit, Vegetables or Eggsfrom Bellfield Organic Nursery and have them delivered to campus for you to collect from Advice Reception, DUSA level 4.
Join a Stressbuster Workshop from 15:45 - 17:00
