Mental Health & Wellbeing Zone - NHS Inform

The new Mental Health and Wellbeing Zone on the NHS inform website provides a gateway to Scottish-focused information on different aspects of mental health and wellbeing. The zone also signposts to quality-assured external resources such as websites and self help tools.

The Mental Health & Wellbeing Zone is divided into four sections, making information easy to find:

Mental Wellbeing
Articles on different factors which can affect mental wellbeing such as bereavement, money worries, relationship problems and stress

Mental Health Conditions
Information on different mental health conditions, arranged in an easy to follow layout

Accessing Help
Information on the different types of help available, such as support organisations, different types of talking therapy, self-help tools and medication for mental health conditions. This section aims to give users a start in deciding on the best way to improve their mental health and wellbeing

Worried About Someone?
Help and advice for people who are concerned about a friend or family member and would like information on how they may be able to help them with a mental health and wellbeing issue

Each topic on the zone also has a Further Information and Support page so that users know where to go to find out more or seek support
