Non-Medical Personal Helper (NMPH) Service

Our Non-Medical Personal Helper Service is currently outsourced to Randstad who recruit and train Non-Medical Personal Helpers (NMPH) to provide support for disabled students to assist them with their studies. This support includes:

• Proof-reading assignments
• Note-taking in lectures
• General support around campus.
• Organisational support
• Reading course material onto digital recorder

Disability Services:

Disabled students requiring NMPH should initially make an appointment to see one of our Advisers. They will provide advise on the most suitable support and arrange funding. Our main administrative contact for disabled students requiring NMPH and students/others seeking work as a NMPH is Pam Taylor. Pam can be contacted by emailing: disability@dundee.ac.uk.
