The Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) on campus are recruiting volunteers to support their service and hope to extend the opening hours. Students interested in a career within law, social policy, social work, IT, marketing, business, politics and community education often find that CAB volunteering can provide practical experience that is especially relevant. Volunteering with CAB also allows the opportunity to build confidence and enhance interpersonal, communication, negotiation and problem solving skills, and let's not forget, it's also great to be able to help people solve their problems.
To take part in summer training completed applications must be received by 15th May 2012 and you might expect to be delivering CAB service by January 2013.
