The School of the Environment offers the following Scholarships to students matriculating on our Undergraduate Courses and MSc Taught Postgraduate Programmes in 2011/12.
The School of the Environment offers Scholarships of £1500 per year to overseas applicants for its MA and BSc programmes. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit, and will be deducted from the University fee invoice for 2011-12. Successful candidates will receive the award in each of their undergraduate years for a maximum of four years. The above Scholarships are not applicable to those in receipt of PSAS (Postgraduate Students' Allowance Scheme) awards.
PSAS Awards (SAAS Postgraduate Students' Allowance Scheme)
It is hoped that many of the School of the Environment's taught postgraduate programmes may be
awarded an allocation of PSAS funded places in 2011/12. If this is the case, Programme Leaders of
relevant courses will nominate eligible candidates.
Saltire Scholarships
The University of Dundee (supported and funded by the Scottish Government) is offering 8 Saltire
Scholarships valued at £2,000 each towards the cost of tuition fees for a full time Masters level
course in a wide range of subject areas. To be eligible, you should: have already been offered a
place on a Masters level programme in a priority subject at the University of Dundee, and should
have firmly accepted that offer; be a citizen of Canada, the People's Republic of China, India or
the USA; not have completed an undergraduate degree in Scotland; and ensure you can meet the costs
of living and remaining tuition fees. Prioritiy areas are: Creative industries; life sciences;
technology; financial services; renewable and clean energy. The deadline for submitting completed
