Welcome to Safety Services and Occupational Health's web pages.
Our role is to support you in reducing accidents and ill health to staff, students and visitors. We do this by writing policies and procedures, training staff, giving advice and information, and monitoring performance.
Our goal is to prevent accidents and work related ill health, and we understand that to realise our goal we must add value to the University's core activities of academic scholarship and research.

Occupational Health
We offer an accessible but confidential service to all employees and give impartial advice to achieve the best interests of both employees and the University.
Our role is to provide advice and support relating to any adverse effects of work on health or health on work, and to support managers in their responsibility for maintaining the health, safety and welfare of staff
