About RIS
Research and Innovation Services provides specialist services related to the University's research activities.
This involves RIS working across the continuum of the research effort at the University.
RIS is responsible for the pre-award administration of research funding - handling all costings, advising on proposals and negotiating contracts prior to projects starting.
RIS also helps secure infrastructure funding to build the research capacity of the University.
RIS draws on its extensive knowledge and interactions with university researchers to identify technologies and discoveries with commercial potential. It welcomes contact from companies interested in funding collaborative research programmes or licensing university technologies.
