ID Cards

The University ID card, which students are expected to display at all times when on campus, will be issued to you at matriculation. Your card is intended to last for the duration of your degree studies. The card acts as proof of identity across the campus and as proof of student status in the wider community. The card is used to gain access to Library, IT and Sports facilities and to some University buildings.

It will be necessary to replace the card, if during the course of your degree you repeat a year, take an optional year out or if the expected finishing date for your degree changes for any reason. In these circumstances the new cards will be issued free of charge. However, there will be a charge of £15 for the replacement of lost, stolen or damaged ID cards.

Replacement cards can be obtained from the Enquiry Centre at 2 Airlie Place.
