Important Examinations Information

A separate disability/special timetable is now available to all registered students with disabilities who are entitled to extra time during exams or who require a scribe, a PC or other equipment. This timetable details where exams will take place.

All students entitled to extra time will be accommodated in a separate venue away from the main exam halls. This will allow these students to work uninterrupted by the exit of large numbers of students, and will be provided dedicated invigilation. Extra time will only be permitted in these separate venues (generally the G rooms in the Tower Building although we anticipate having to use a number of other venues). Any student entitled to extra time who nevertheless attends for an exam in the main venue (Sports Centre, Bonar Hall, Accountancy Lecture Room) will not be entitled to extra time in that venue. Please make sure you attend for exam at the right venue.

If any student does not intend to sit their examinations in a separate venue, and wishes to sit in the main venue without extra time being allowed, could you please let Registry know as soon as possible so we can amend our records. It would also be helpful if you could advise Disability Services of your decision.
