If this is your first award from the University of Dundee you must pay the Graduates Council Fee.

This covers the cost of producing your certificate, Graduation ceremony and provides Alumni services.

You must pay this fee in order to receive your Graduation Certificate

If you don’t want to attend a ceremony

Degree Certificates are not issued as part of the ceremony. You don’t have to attend a ceremony to obtain your certificate. Your certificate will be posted out to you – so make sure your address is updated. If you already have your certificate you can still attend the ceremony

Can I attend a ceremony in the future?

At the moment the answer is no. We are hoping to introduce this choice soon. If you are unable to attend your Graduation ceremony you will be Graduated in absentia. Your certificate will be sent to you as long as you have paid the Graduates Council fee and completed Registration
