Students thinking about withdrawing from their course should first meet with their Advisor of Studies or School Secretary to ensure this is the right course of action for them and they have considered all academic and financial implications. Students should follow the appropriate withdrawal procedures with their Schools.
If a refund is to be made, a calculation will be made based on what has been paid less what is still outstanding. The University will refund the Federal Programme pro rata on the basis of the students withdrawal date.
International students who have been issued with a Tier 4 CAS from the University of Dundee and withdraw from studies within one month of matriculation are liable to pay an administration fee of £1000 which will be deducted from Tuition Fees received, if sponsored the student will be invoiced for this fee.
The University may also be required to pay back to the Direct Loan Programme a proportion of the loan made to you for living costs and personal expenses. You may be required to reimburse the University.
Where a student is funded by a Government agency the refund will be calculated within the rules of the funding body and will be refunded to that body

Your refund will be calculated based on what you have paid less what you are due to pay. If a sponsor has paid for you a refund will be made direct to your sponsor.
Refunds will normally be calculated on a monthly basis, depending on how many months the student has studied, to a maximum of nine months. After nine months of study have been completed, no refund will be made.
