Strategic Framework

A new University Strategy to 2017 and supporting Performance Management Framework are currently under development, and are expected to be approved by University Court in early September 2012. Information on the Strategic Framework to 2012 is provided below.

Our Strategic Framework to 2012 provides a guide for the University as it delivers its mission in a complex and challenging world. We will promote translational research, high standards and new approaches to professional education and training, creative and innovative working between disciplines and a focus on contemporary issues like globalisation, climate change and sustainability.

The Strategic Framework identifies seven key aims for the period to 2012. These reinforce the overall direction of the University, and provide a template for action and a basis for monitoring progress.
