GP medal
In memory of Dr John Lawson CBE, former President of the Royal College of General Practitioners and Dundee General Practitioner, the East Scotland Faculty of the College has inaugurated a medal in his name to be awarded to the best final year undergraduate medical student at the University of Dundee in General Practice. The College bronze medal will be used, which has the College crest on one side and will be inscribed on the reverse with the medal's name, its purpose and the recipient for that year.
