Overview

This module will give the students the opportunity to explore and increase their knowledge of advanced medical imaging systems and their range of applications.

The range of teaching and learning resources via the VLE will enable students to participate in a range of skills congruent with that of advanced practitioners who are capable of critically reviewing current practices, making decisions based on evidence and advising colleagues.

Aims of the Module

To provide health professionals the opportunity to build a high level of knowledge in radiological services by extending their knowledge-base in the technological, clinical and management of radiology services.

Teaching & Assessment

This module is delivered entirely online through MyDundee (the University virtual learning environment). All materials are provided through this medium. E-learning offers students easy access to web resources and documents needed for their studies, as well as facilitating discussions and the exchange of ideas with fellow students and tutors. Anyone with access to the internet and basic IT skills will be able to use MyDundee.

Business proposal for the acquisition of an imaging or oncology system which includes the design of a departmental radiology or oncology suite.

Entry Requirements

You should be educated to relevant first degree level or equivalent. Students are required to have access to a computer with broadband internet access.
