The programme aims to provide a thorough understanding of all aspects of human anatomy. It is targeted mainly at those from overseas, especially the Indian subcontinent, who for professional reasons are required to undertake a higher degree in Anatomy prior to taking up an Anatomy teaching appointment. It is also open to individuals from the UK, EU and other countries.
The programme will cover all aspects of human anatomy, including gross anatomy through whole body dissection, human embryology, neuroanatomy, histology and cell biology. There will also be an introduction to anatomical variation and clinical/surgical anatomy. Each student also completes a dissertation or small project.
This programme is also available part-time over 24 months (to Home/EU students only.)
