Archives Postgraduate Courses

The Centre for Archive and Information Studies offers the following Masters degrees by online distance learning:

Archives & Records Management (MLitt / MSc (Int) / PGDip / PGCert) - a flexible and supported distance learning programme which provides an in-depth understanding of the theory and practice of archives and records management and the impact of recordkeeping in an international context

Family and Local History (MLitt) - teaches the skills and methodologies necessary to investigate the history of families and neighbourhoods within the wider context of social history.

Records Management & Digital Preservation (MSc / PGDip / PGCert) - provides students with specialist knowledge, understanding and practical skills of e-records and digital preservation management

Records Management & Information Rights (MSc / PGDip / PGCert) - a unique programme which examines the relationship between the requirements of information legislation and the implications for record keepers

Single module study for Continuing Professional Development is also available.
