The MSc Advanced Practice (Organisational Leadership) is a multi-disciplinary award pathway is highly suitable for health and social care candidates who are seeking to advance their leadership capabilities that can then be applied across a range of clinical and management settings. Internationally, expectations of health and social care staff include the capability to enact advanced leadership capabilities across all levels of organisational roles.
The Advanced Practice (Organisational Leadership) pathway consequently seeks to respond to these challenges through offering flexible, inclusive and contemporary content that is relevant to the student across international settings. Students undertaking the pathway will have the opportunity to gain a better understanding of their own leadership capabilities, as well as having a greater understanding of the challenging contexts in which leadership is enacted.

This pathway offers students of all disciplines opportunities to not only engage in critical appraisal of leadership theory, but also to develop enhanced leadership, personal and interpersonal skills that have application across work and social life roles. The pathway core module includes theories underpinning leadership, personal development and management of change and is relevant to all health and social care professionals. Those wanting to develop and influence others, model leadership qualities and build consensus through complex strategies, as well as being enabled to enhance self awareness, empathy and initiative will find this award highly relevant.

Applicants are normally required to have a relevant first degree. Previous experience may also be considered upon application, for more information, visit the School of Nursing & Midwifery APEL webpage.
You will require access to a personal computer with good connection to the internet (broadband recommended).
English Language Requirement: IELTS of 6.5, with minimum of 6.0 in any component (or equivalent), if your first language is not English.
