Course Information
Whichever year of study you have currently reached, this section of our site will have something that is relevant and useful for you (as well as giving prospective students a taste of what studying with us is all about):
Modules
Guides to all Politics modules across the four levels of study are available here. More detailed information on each module can be found by clicking on the appropriate module name. There you will find information including a summary of the module content, which members of staff are involved, the form of assessment, and some sample reading.
Pathways
You may also find our Pathways Summary table showing the compulsory and optional modules that apply to each degree pathway helpful when deciding on which pathway is right for you.
Further Information
If you need more information, or have a specific query: either contact the relevant module convenor if it's about a particular module (each module guide tells you who this person is and how to contact them) , or, if it's on a more general matter, just contact our programme Secretary, Rhona Crowe (see staff contact details), and she'll make sure you get what you need.
MA Degree Structure
If you're in the early stages of your degree (or a prospective student) you may also find the page outlining the MA degree structure a helpful reference guide.
Study Abroad
If you're a first or second year student why not find out about how you can study abroad in the third year of your degree. It's an exciting option open to all Politics and International Relations students, and is well worth a look.
Careers
Finally, for third and - especially - fourth year students, make sure you take advantage of the free help available to you from the University Careers Service.
