Dr Alex Wright is Convener for the 1MA politics and policy course which is usually held in semester 1. He also teaches two courses at years 3 and 4 (Contemporary UK Politics and Scottish Politics respectively).
His research interests have focused on Scotland's relations with the European Union, devolution in the UK and regionalism in Europe.

New Scotland: New Politics?
Between 2000 and 2003 I organised a series of public seminars at the University of Dundee, during which a number of high profile figures in Scottish politics gave presentations, followed by questions. Although the seminars were designed primarily for the academic community at Dundee, the seminars were open to the public.
