Final Year Students Rate Politics at Dundee

Politics at Dundee has regularly been voted top in Scotland by its final year students and 2011 is no exception. A few years ago it was voted not just top in Scotland but the UK as well.

The National Students Survey polled 265,000 final year students across the UK (they only voted for the degree programme that they were taking at their host institution). The results of the survey were published in the Sunday Times University Guide on 11/09/11.

In all those polled had to rate 12 criteria including quality of teaching, academic support, assessment and feedback. Politics at Dundee scored an overall rating of 83.8%. The scores for all Scottish Universities’ politics programmes, highest rated first, were:

  1. Dundee: 83.8%
  2. St. Andrews: 82.6%
  3. Strathclyde: 81.5%
  4. Stirling: 81.2%
  5. Glasgow: 78.0%
  6. Aberdeen: 75.4%
  7. Edinburgh: 69.1%
