Philosophy Welcomes New Lecturer
Dr Todd Mei has joined the Philosophy programme from the University of Kent.
Dr Mei will be convening three undergraduate modules in 2012-13, Aesthetics and Kant, Love and Desire in Plato's Dialogues and Philosophy of Religion. He is undertaking research in the areas of the philosophy of economics and the relation between Continental and analytic philosophy, and welcomes proposals for research in these areas.
Dr Mei obtained his bachelors degree in English literature from the University of California at Berkeley, and after working as film director and actor, claims adjuster, and gym manager, he completed a PhD at the University of Kent in the philosophy of human work.
