'Pedagogical Encounters - Feminist Philosophy and Education'
Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd June 2012
University of Dundee (Dalhousie Building & West Park Conference Centre)
This is the third event attached to the Royal Society of Edinburgh funded Research Network, Engendering Dialogue: Feminist Thought and Contemporary Debates in Art, Science and Education. The aim of this event is to create a space for dialogue between feminist philosophers and educational practitioners, with a particular focus on the issue of pedagogical relations, and the teaching of philosophy across a range of educational contexts (including philosophy for children, community education, and philosophy in prisons).
This event is open to all, but to attend you must register in advance. The Programme and Registration Form are available online on the Engendering Dialogue website.
