James Williams in New Orleans
Professor James Williams of the Philosophy programme will be an instructor at the 6th Annual Deleuze Camp preceding the International Deleuze Studies Conference 2012 in New Orleans in June.
The camp will provide an opportunity for students and researchers to engage with experienced scholars from different fields in readings of Deleuze’s texts, and includes a student forum where participants can present their own work and ideas.
Professor Williams will also be speaking at the Conference following the Camp. His paper entitled “Intensity/surface” discusses potential connections between the concepts of intensity and surface in Deleuze’s work.
The Camp takes place from 18-22 June, followed by the Conference on 25-27 June. For further information about both the Camp and the Conference, please see the 5th International Deleuze Studies Conference website.
