Braham Exhibition Catalogue Contribution
Dominic Smith, lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Dundee, has written a piece for the catalogue of Phil Braham's exhibition of paintings, 'Still'. Phil Braham is a tutor at the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, part of the University of Dundee.
Dominic says, "It was a great pleasure for me to be asked to help with the catalogue for 'Still'. I've known Phil for a couple of years now; we get along well, and I like his work, so I was really pleased to get the chance to sit down and meditate on this collection. The show passed off well, and Phil received good reviews in several of the national newspapers; it was something really exciting to be involved in!"
The 'Still' exhibition ran from the 5th of August to the 5th of September 2011 in the Dean Gallery in Edinburgh, and Phil will be showing some of the paintings from the collection in Berlin from 25th October to 23rd November.
