If you are experiencing a problem with the contents
of a module unit you should contact your tutor. If you
are having any general problems or difficulties you

Should I inform anyone if I won't be able to devote any
time to my studies for a while? |
A.
If you find yourself in the situation where you can't
study for a while it is best to let the Course Organiser
know. Please inform us in writing giving the reasons
why you are unable to study. This will be noted and
will be taken into account should the need arise for
your period of study to be extended. |

What should I do if I am unable to contact my tutor at
the designated times? |
A.
If you are unable to contact your tutor when they are
available you should write, fax or email your questions
or queries and he/she will reply as promptly as possible. |

Do I need to come to Dundee at any time during the course? |
A.
Examinations are held in Dundee every March for the
ORT Course, although examinations may also be held at
suitable locations throughout the country and overseas,
by arrangement. MSc students are required to attend
the University for an oral examination in connection
with their project. |

How do I travel to Dundee if I am sitting exams there? |
| A.
Dundee is well-served by air, road, rail and coach. For

Do I have to sit all the examinations at the same time? |
A.
The examinations for the ORT Course can be taken all
at once or individually, or two at a time etc. The only
requirement before sitting an exam is that you must
have completed all the coursework for the relevent examination
beforehand. |

What do I do if I am unable to complete my module in time
for the next completion date? |
A.
If you are going to miss the module completion date
by more than a few days you should complete a re-registration
form so that you can continue with your studies up to
the next scheduled completion date. |

Will I need to buy textbooks? |
A.
The study materials supplied for each module unit contain
all the information you require, but for each module
further reading and references are also recommended.
This is mainly recommended for the clarification of
points and for further reading. |
