MSc/Postgraduate
Diploma in Orthopaedic & Rehabilitation Technology
Technology
has always been central for the diagnosis and treatment in orthopaedics, biomechanics
and rehabilitation, and the use of technology has never been greater
than it is at the present time. For instance, twenty-five years
ago there was only one type of artificial hip and today there
are more than forty. This rapid development has considerable implications
for all those working in the fields of orthopaedics and rehabilitation.
This programme aims to provide an understanding of the principles
involved in the development, application and evaluation of orthopaedics, biomechanics
and rehabilitation technology.
