A career in nursing is interesting, rewarding and challenging. Nurses work in every health setting from accident and emergency to working in patients' homes, with people of all ages and backgrounds. Although traditionally nurses cared for sick patients, that is now only one of the many exciting roles. And as a degree profession, you will complete not only with a professional registration, but also a degree from an excellent university. It may also be a start of a research or academic career. Nurses are, more than ever, a crucial part of the healthcare team. In fact, they are the largest group of staff in the NHS!
At the University of Dundee, we offer full time courses in Adult, Mental Health and Child nursing. For more information about nursing read our information for prospective students.
You can find out more at university Open Days or come along to one of our regular Information Sessions. Contact our admissions tutors at nm-admissionstutors@dundee.ac.uk for details.
