Concert Band rehearses on a Monday evening at 7pm in the Music Rooms in the old Micro Computing Centre. The group is open to all and is directed by Susan Sneddon, a wind tutor at the High School of Dundee.
Our symphonic repertoire has covered Mendelsshon, Beethoven & Schubert, and we have also performed non-symphonic works such as Copland's Rodeo, Vaughan-Williams Folk-Song Suite as well as the Beatlecracker. A number of TV & movie themes have also been played e.g. James Bond, 633 Squadron, Band of Brothers and music from Star Wars. See the Orchestrawebsite.
Rehearsals take place on a Wednesay evening at 7.pm in the Music Rooms.
The Big Band plays a variety of styles, from swing era Duke Ellington and Glenn Miller to the contemporary Jeff Jarvis. As well as performing at gigs within the University, they are often to be seen in other Dundee venues such as the Rep and DCA.

The Airlie Recorder Consort is a group of staff, students and local players. Since their debut concert in May 2004 they have almost doubled in size and have a busy schedule of performances.
