THE MAGGIE'S CENTRE COLLECTION

Maggie's Centre, Dundee

Opened in 2003 and built to an award-winning design by internationally-renowned architect Frank Gehry, the Maggie's Centre is one of Dundee's most beautiful buildings. Designed as a care centre for those suffering from or affected by cancer, it commands spectacular views across the Tay. As well as its striking appearance and breathtaking setting, the Centre also boasts a significant collection of Scottish art, most of which was donated by local collector Neil Livingstone. On display within the Centre are works by G P Chalmers, W B Lamond, David Foggie, McIntosh Patrick, Will Maclean, Eduardo Paolozzi and many others. In 2004 the Centre kindly allowed us to catalogue these works as part of the University Collections. You can see a selection of the artworks here.
