The Maggie's Centre Collection

Opened in 2003 and built to an award-winning design by internationally renowned architect Frank Gehry, the Maggie's Centre is one of Dundee's most beautiful buildings. Designed as a care centre for those suffering from or affected by cancer, it commands spectacular views across the Tay. As well as its striking appearance and breathtaking setting, the Centre also boasts a significant collection of Scottish art, most of which was donated by local collector Neil Livingston (1920-2010). On display within the Centre are works by G P Chalmers, W B Lamond, David Foggie, McIntosh Patrick, Will Maclean, Eduardo Paolozzi, Grayson Perry and many others. A stunning Anthony Gormley sculpture stands outside in the landscaped garden. Since 2004 the Centre has kindly allowed us to catalogue these works as part of the collections at Ninewells.
