This exhibition, drawn from the University's archive and museum collections, reveals the extraordinary life and career of Sergeant Joe Lee, the Dundee journalist who became famous as the 'Black Watch Poet', illustrating his own books with evocative drawings from the First World War.

Featuring unique sketches, diaries and letters, the exhibition covers the whole of Lee's lengthy career - as writer, artist and soldier.
