The course aims to give a solid introduction to information security and touch upon important applications, evolving technologies, and new security threats.

Assessment and Coursework

Coursework counts for 70% of the final module mark and this is made up of weekly review quizzes or exercises (20%) and coursework assignments (50%). The remaining 30% of the final module mark is made up of an exam.
