General Information about X-Ray 

About the department

Clinical Radiology is also known as the X-Ray Department. We perform tests on the thyroid and the adrenal glands using different pieces of equipment.

We use three types of equipment to perform endocrine tests:

How to find us

Enter through the main hospital entrance which is on level 7. Turn right into the Out-patient Clinic area opposite W H Smith. A few yards along the corridor you will see signs for Clinical Radiology/X-Ray. Follow these right, through the door. Go down the stairs or lift. We are situated on Level 6, one level down.

Ladies: If you are or think you may be pregnant , please inform this office immediately.

What happens to the results?

We will send a report to the doctor who referred you for this examination.

Keep in touch

Radiological investigations are expensive and time consuming. Demand constantly exceeds resources. If you cannot keep your appointment, please inform the X-Ray appointment clerical officer immediately, preferably by telephone on Dundee 632966.
