To provide a multi-disciplinary focus for research on diet between medical, social, behavioural and biological scientists
To develop research in food issues, nutrition and diet within the University of Dundee
To develop research programmes in partnership with government agencies, local and national health education agencies, food producers, manufacturers and retailers, consumer and community organisations
To support and develop current research on understanding the influences on dietary behaviour and implications for health
To maintain and expand consumer relevant food research.
