Teaching
The academic section of Ageing and Health is part of the University of Dundee Division of Medicine & Therapeutics. It is responsible for the teaching of medicine for the elderly at undergraduate and postgraduate level to medical, nursing, dental and other students. Teaching in the Medical School is externally rated as "excellent".
Research
There is a thriving multidisciplinary research programme focussed on physical activity, nutrition and cardiology of old age. The RAE ratings for the Medical School were 4/5/5* for Community, Hospital-based and Laboratory-based units of assessment.
Applications from potential research fellows for MD or PhD programmes are welcomed.
