Intracranial Haemorrhage Algorithm Hemorrhage following initiation of thrombolytic therapy for stroke

The following algorithm was developed for using during a clinical trial.  All or part of this algorithm may be adapted for use of thrombolytic therapy of stroke for approved indications.  The application of this algorithm may have to be modified in order to function with resources available in a particular location.

Note 1: Preparations for giving platelets and Cryoprecipitate can be initiated at the first suspicion of hemorrhage so that they would be ready if needed.

Note 2: It is highly recommended to have a plan for obtaining neurosurgical advice.
