The Centre for Neuroscience is home to 25 research groups. A high priority within the Centre is the teaching and training of the next generation of scientists and clinicians in this exciting area of biomedicine. Research ranges from investigating the expression, trafficking and activity of single receptors, through to clinical studies designed to improve our understanding of complex psychiatric disorders. The foundation of the PhD programme is novel research focused on improving our understanding of important questions in Neuroscience. Additionally, there are compulsory courses in generic skills taught throughout the course.
