Centre for Academic Clinical Practice
The academic and other related staff in CACP work closely with their colleagues on the NHS to provide a structure for discipline-based clinical academic practice with the following aims:
- To deliver discipline based undergraduate teaching for the MBChB curriculum
- To deliver high quality clinical research and to act as the "effector" arm of the translational research effort
- To deliver discipline based taught postgraduate courses
- To provide guidance for undergraduate students in making career choices
- To provide a career structure for clinical academics that maps to the clinical structures in the NHS
