Sports Facilities

The Institute for Sport and Exercise offers facilities for hire for sporting and other events, e.g. company sports days; seminars; sports quad training sessions. Corporate membership packages are also available.

Careers Service

The Careers Service can assist with recruiting students and graduates for work-placement, part or full-time work.

Archives

The University holds a number of local history collections which are accessible to the general public.

Botanic Garden

The Garden is a centre for public enjoyment in addition to its principal function of supplying plant material for teaching and research within the University of Dundee. Facilities include a visitor centre, coffee shop, and plant sales.

Library Membership

The Library provides subscriptions for external membership providing access to more than half a million books, pamphlets, government documents, old and rare books and conference proceedings, and a substantial audio-visual collection of around 80,000 items.

There are collections consisting of material preserved during the 100 years of the Institution's existence.

Music in the University

The University has a very busy programme of concerts and other musical activities.

The Institute of Sport and Exercise provides the opportunity for all members of the University and local community to participate in sport and exercise. They have an extensive range of programmes, and the most extensive range of quality sports facilities in any one location in Tayside.
