Entries to the Dundee International Book Prize are now closed
Entries to the Dundee International Book Prize are now closed - we had a record number of entries.
The judges this year are:
- Philip Pullman, internationally renowned author.
- Stephen Fry, author, actor and TV star
- Alan Bissett, author and actor
- Jenny Brown, literary agent
The 12 shortlisted authors and novels have now been announced. They are:
- The Man Who Wouldn't Stand Up by Jacob M Appel
- Left At The Mango Tree by Stephanie Siciarz
- Mum to Mum by Hazel Ellis - Saxon
- The Matchstick Girl by Suzanne Hocking
- Relatively Guilty by Willie McIntyre
- The Prostitutes of Lake Wobegon by Sean Shannon
- The Folded Man by Matt Hill
- Distillery Boys by Neil Cocker
- The Dandelion Clock by Margot McCuaig
- Rust & Stardust by Kirsty Logan
- Wider Than The Sky by Pippa Goldschmidt
- Life Knocks by Craig Stone

We will be announcing the three finalists in July and the winner of the prize will be announced in October.
