inspirED for Students

Educational Development works in partnership with DUSA, and other key areas of the University such as the Academic Achievement Teaching Unit and Generic Skills to ensure that academic staff are kept up-to-date on student issues relating to representation, quality enhancement, student services etc.

We also provide a number of services directly to students ourselves including:

• Guidance on information literacy (helping to develop skills in literature searching, referencing and plagiarism avoidance, critical appraisal of information and many other areas)
• EndNote training (used to manage bibliographies and references when writing essays and articles)
• Supporting MyPDP training
• Supporting the new student-led teaching award - 'Inspire'.
