- BAILII : the British & Irish Legal Information Institute offers a single point of access to most British and Irish primary legal materials (legislation and case law) that are freely available online
- Hein Online. Image-based and fully-searchable libraries of academic law journals, US treaties and agreements, US legislation and Supreme Court decisions, and "classic" law books. For off-campus access select UK Federation and enter your University of Dundee username and password.
- NEXIS. Includes online UK and international newspapers.
- Lexis Library. Legal research and information service.
- UN Treaty Collection : includes League of Nations Treaty Series and UN Treaty Series (on-campus only)
- WESTLAW UK. Legal research and information service: UK legislation, case law and journals; EU legislation and case law; US legislation, case law and journals; plus other jurisdictions and international material.
- Cardiff Index to Legal Abbreviations: This service deciphers abbreviations for English language legal publications from Britain, the Commonwealth and the United Kingdom, including those covering international and comparative law
- Legislation.gov.uk : Contains all the primary legislation of a public general nature in force at any particular time. Also includes legislation from devolved legislatures in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland
- WORLDLII - World Legal Information Institute "Free, independent and non-profit access to worldwide law"
- ZETOC . British Library Electronic Table of Contents Service: contents of journals and conference proceedings from 1993 to date, updated daily. Includes an email alerting service so you can keep up-to-date with your subject area. Choose "Dundee, University of" from the drop-down list of universities when logging in.
- SCOPUS . Journals index with abstracts.

- Box of Broadcasts. "BoB is an off-air recording and media archive service. BoB is available to staff and students of member institutions of the British Universities Film & Video Council that hold an ERA+ licence. This TV scheduling service allows you to record TV and radio programmes that are scheduled to be broadcast over the next seven days as well as retrieving programmes from the last seven days from a selected list of recorded channels." Type 'University of Dundee' then login with your username and password.

- House of Commons Parliamentary Papers. A collection of over 200,000 sessional papers from 1715 to the present, with supplementary material back to 1688. Select the link to login via your home organisation, then choose the University of Dundee from the drop-down menu.
