Web browser search tools

picture of search provider menu in Internet Explorer 7 Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox both have a search box built into the browser, located at the top right. You can use this search box for searching Google or other search engines, but you can also add the Library catalogue and the CrossSearch quick-sets to the search provider menu.

It's quite simple to do: just choose the service you wish to install from those listed below, and click the link! You'll then have the Library's search services just a mouse-click away.

Please note: additional search providers cannot be installed by users of the student desktop.
