- Art Museum Image Gallery . Image collection of works of art from ancient to contemporary times. Off campus select Shibboleth login, then the UK Higher Education group and then the University of Dundee.
- Box of Broadcasts. "BoB is an off-air recording and media archive service. BoB is available to staff and students of member institutions of the British Universities Film & Video Council that hold an ERA+ licence. This TV scheduling service allows you to record TV and radio programmes that are scheduled to be broadcast over the next seven days as well as retrieving programmes from the last seven days from a selected list of recorded channels." Type 'University of Dundee' then login with your username and password.
- Bridgeman Education. "Bridgeman Education database offers access to over 200,000 images. Images should not be made available on the internet or used for publication or lectures outside the University of Dundee. All downloaded images from Bridgeman should have the following credit "Copyright The Bridgeman Art Library - London, New York, Paris." For off campus access click on Login, then on login via UK Access Management Federation, and enter University of Dundee.
- British Library Archival Sound Recordings. The British Library Sound Archive is one of the world's foremost sound archives with a collection of over a million discs, 185,000 tapes, and many other sound and video recordings. These come from all over the world and cover the entire range of recorded sound from music, drama and literature, to oral history and wildlife and human environment sounds. Click on Log-in and select the University of Dundee.
- Digimap: online Ordnance Survey maps and mapping data. Login via UK Federation.
- Historic Digimap: Ordnance Survey maps dating from 1843-1996. Login via UK Federation.
- JISC MediaHub. JISC Media Hub provides a single point of access to video, image and sound resources from many different providers, including Associated Press, the Biochemical Society Archive, Channel 4, Culverhouse Classical Music, Gaumont, Getty, Imperial War Museum, ITN, Reuters, Royal Geographical Society, St Georges Hospital Medical School and Wellcome. It includes television news, documentary films, still images and classical music, and covers a wide range of academic subjects. The content is licensed for educational and research use, and access is provided via an easy-to-use interface, which can cross-search all the available collections. Log in via the UK Federation and select the University of Dundee.
- John Johnson collection. An archive of printed ephemera. The collection provides access to thousands of items selected from the John Johnson Collection of Printed Ephemera at the Bodleian Library, offering unique insights into the changing nature of everyday life in Britain in the eighteenth, nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Follow the "Remote users: login via your home institution" link, choose the UK region, and University of Dundee.
- MIMAS Landmap. Certain sections of the service require individual registration. When prompted, select Dundee University from the drop-down menu and follow the registration instructions.

- SCRAN - Scottish Cultural Resources Network. Access to quality images, sounds and movies from museums, galleries and archives. Select Shibboleth login, then the University of Dundee, and login with your username and password.

- VADS: Visual Arts Data Service, the online resource for visual arts. Over 100,000 digital images free for use in education.
- Wellcome Images: allows unlimited
access to a vast catalogue of medical images, manuscripts, and illustrations
exploring the meaning of medicine, its history and current practice.
All content has been made available under a Creative Commons Licence, which
allows users to copy, distribute and display the image, provided the source
is fully attributed and it
is used for non-commercial purposes.
